For decades, the bulk of our investments were entrusted to one of the big banks and never for a minute, in all those years, did we know whether or not we were on track to meet our retirement goals. That is no doubt because in all those years the bank never asked us what our retirement goals were!
At the beginning of our relationship, Jim collected all of our financial data and then after establishing what we wanted our retirement years to look like, told us whether we would have the means to get there. In areas where we were falling short, he’s advised us on ways to make up for it. He’s also set us up with safeguards for anything unexpected that life may throw at us in the interim. Before we met Jim, we would have been annihilated if one of us suffered an injury or sickness, or lost our job, and we didn’t even know it.
We now have peace of mind knowing that Jim is keeping us on track to be in the best possible position we can be for retirement. He checks in regularly with us and has excellent contacts in his network that he has put us in touch with for various needs. He is personable and knowledgeable and he and his staff are extremely organized and efficient. Our only regret so far is not having met Jim sooner.
